Load check: rate per mile, broker and weather from a rate con
Paste a rate confirmation or one line about a load and see the rate per mile, the broker’s FMCSA record when the text has an MC number, and driving-related weather alerts in the pickup and delivery states. Free, no account.
What you paste
- A whole rate confirmation, copied as text.
- Or one line, like “CA→TX reefer $3.4/mi”.
- A photo of a rate confirmation is read only with a free account.
What comes back
- The rate per mile, from the rate and the miles in the text, or from a per-mile rate written in it.
- What is left per mile after your own cost per mile, once you enter it. Nothing is pre-filled.
- The broker in the live FMCSA registry, when the text has an MC number: whether the authority is active, a bond or trust fund for a broker, and a red flag when the number belongs to a motor carrier with no broker authority.
- Driving-related National Weather Service alerts (moderate or worse, up to three per state) anywhere in the pickup and delivery states, not only on your route. The row appears only when there are some, so no row is not an all-clear.
- When a broker is named or found, a reminder to call the broker at the number in the FMCSA registry, not the one in the email or the rate con.
What it will not do
It gives no market verdict on a lane that is not measured. “Above”, “at” or “below market” appears only where the lane median comes from carriers’ own rate confirmations, and the comparison needs both states, the trailer type and a rate per mile in the text. Otherwise the page says why there is no comparison (the lane is not measured, the text lacks a state or the trailer type, or the rate server did not answer) and judges by your cost. When the text has no MC number, has more than one and it cannot tell which is the broker’s, or the registry lookup fails, it says the broker was not checked: unknown, not clean.
With a whole rate confirmation
The page links to the rate confirmation reader: detention, TONU, payment terms, and, when the paper carries an MC number, a comparison of the broker details on it with the FMCSA record.
Questions and answers
Is it free?
Yes. Pasting text needs no account and no payment.
Where does the broker data come from?
From the public FMCSA registry of the US Department of Transportation, read live on every check.
Why is there no “above market” on my lane?
The lane is not measured yet, the text lacks something the comparison needs (both states, the trailer type and a rate per mile), or the rate server did not answer; the page says which. A market label appears only where the median comes from carriers’ own rate confirmations; we do not fill the gap with an estimate.
Which languages does it work in?
The page is in English, Spanish and Russian. It reads rate confirmations written in English.
